Popis: | This paper presents comparative performance study of various converter fed multilevel inverter with photo voltaic generation. The main purpose of multilevel inverter is to operate at high power using lower rating devices. This paper enlightens the comparison of multilevel inverter using different converters for analyzing its desired regulated AC output voltages and its THD. Two types of converters Zeta converter and Switched capacitor converter have been used for getting desired DC voltage from Photo voltaic input for respective topologies. Comparative study of various Modulation strategies (POD-PWM, APOD-PWM) has been made which results in reduced switch count and THD reduction. This analysis is based on factors like voltage operation range, Total harmonic distortion. The simulation of all these topologies has been done using MATLAB/ SIMULINK. Simulation results shown are used as source of comparison. |
