Popis: | Today’s world has a keen interest in systems which are battery-less and can harvest energy from their surroundings. There is an increased demand for disposable sensors which can be used remotely in different areas. Energy harvesters are the key devices that help to capture the energy from the environment and convert it into exploitable electric power.Places, where there is no conventional power source available, is the best place where energy harvesters can play an important role allowing the electronic gadgets to operate thus eliminating the wiring and frequent visits to replace the batteries to a large extent. This paper thus proposes an energy harvesting system designed and optimized using high bandwidth rectenna for Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). The proposed system helps to effectively analyse the RF Energy Harvesting for WSN using rectenna. The Rectenna designed and proposed in this paper is used to harvest electric energy from the RF signals radiated from Mobile phones, GSM, PCS, WLAN, AM, FM, Wi-Fi and television broadcasting systems. This work contains rectennas with HFSS, the MATLAB software. The rectenna consist of high bandwidth system which works for both the narrowband as well as for the broadband in which wideband and frequency independent antenna is designed. The earlier researcher used different rectenna system for narrowband as well as for broadband. The frequency range of the proposed Rectenna covers both narrowband and broadband (800 MHz to 7 GHz). This makes this research beneficial for modern wireless communication systems. |
