Popis: | The problem of determining temperatures on the surface of a flat plate that is both convectively cooled and insulated by a circular spot is presented. Cases of a uniform internal heat source and a constant-temperature surface heat source are considered. The results of a numerical solution show the increase of the temperature under the insulating spot as the Biot number hw k and the dimensionless spot radius are varied. |
