This work provides a technique for determining the time and the point at which pressure disturbances originating from two adjacent wells begin to interfere significantly. Reservoir continuity and flow anisotropy due to natural fractures are common issues in tight-gas reservoir. Lacking and accuracy of pressure data makes the interpretation highly uncertain. The developed technique will provide a method to assist the interpretation of well-interference issue and the optimization of well spacing/pattern in tight-gas reservoirs. The technique is based on analytical model and is easy to apply. |
