Popis: Depression (DP) is a mood disorder associated with comorbidities and a major challenge for mental health worldwide. Among the approaches, the multicultural and phenomenological methodology highlights the psychological suffering from primordial affective-emotional experiences and its importance for psychotherapy. The objective of this paper is to evaluate the ADI/TIP method as an evidence-based psychotherapeutic practice when facing depressive symptoms (EBPP). The specific resources of this methodology allow Direct Access to the Unconscious psychic content (ADI), aiming to a Personal Integration Therapy (TIP). Ten individuals with DP took part in the research, and were divided into two groups: experimental and control. The results of the BDI were analyzed according to SPSS in intra/intergroup comparison and the ones of qualitative research followed Generic Change Indicators (GCIs). The discussion of the results was based on the psychological-phenomenological theory. It demonstrated a significant reduction in DP scores with a percentage variation of 81.9% and reached the highest levels of GCIs, demonstrating changes in the psychological and psychosocial scope. The ADI/TIP Method is indicated as an evidence-based psychotherapeutic practice. Longitudinal researches are suggested, with a wider range of samples, what would allow the consistency of its results, contributing to the development of Scientific Psychology.
