Popis: | Esters of indolyl-3-acetic acid and brassinosteroids of the 24-epibrassinolide series were synthesized via the reaction of indolyl-3-acetic acid anhydride, which was prepared in situ from the acid in the presence of dicyclohexylcarbodiimide, and the appropriate brassinosteroid. Tests of the growth-stimulating activity of the synthesized compounds on a wheat-sprout model revealed a synergic effect of the two different phytohormone components included in the ester molecule. |
