Popis: Tepa fed to males of the cabbage looper, Trichoplusia ni (Hubner), resulted in reduced mating frequency and longevity. Males sprayed with 0.5% tepa lived as long and mated as frequently as untreated males. Males sprayed with 1% tepa were shorter lived and mated less frequently than unsprayed males. Abnormal copulatory aberrations occurred more frequently when males were treated with tepa by any method and appeared to be correlated with age of male when treated and concentration of applied sterilant. Tepa-fed males were less responsive to the female sex pheromone than untreated males, but response of tepasprayed males to the pheromone was comparable with that of untreated males.
