Popis:	Reactions of polyacrylates of different stereoregularities were briefly outlined. Then, NMR spectra of poly( methyl acrylates) polymerized with various initiators and also those of model compounds were analyzed and compared. Theoretical spectra agreed well with the observed ones. In order to examine the stability of tertiary CH in poly-acrylonitrile and polyacrylonitrile-a-d were hydrolyzed with sodium hydroxide solution, sulfuric acid, or deuterated sulfuric acid, and racemization of the tertiary carbons was found.
