Popis: The present research had as objective analyze the biodiversity of macroinvertebrates as indicators of water quality in the rivers of Junin. In order to evaluate the water quality of the three sampling sites, the Anaspuquio, Yaropouquio and Loma Chacachimpa rivers, located in the district of Junin, province of Junin, it was calculated the EPT biotic index where it was found that in the Site 1 and 3 the water quality is regular with scores of 26 and 23 respectively, for the 2 site the water quality is poor with a score of 20 [1]. As for the water quality assessment according to the Hilsenhof Biological Index Sites 1 and 2 water quality is mean with a mean probably degree of organic contamination. And site 3 water quality good with substantially high degree of organic contamination. The EPT% index was evaluated, which mainly considers the populations of Ephemeroptera, Plecoptera and Trichoptera, which are considered of the class as indicators of clean waters and at site 1 the percentage was of 36,45% which determines us That the water is moderately clean, site 2 was 0% which determines that the poorly clean water and site 3 was 67.96% which determine the water is clean.
