In seeking to control a variety of solution polymerisation processes many on-line and off-line software packages have been developed in our laboratories. A brief survey is given here of packages for (i) simulation and control software for homo-and co-polymerisation processes in various reactor configurations, (ii) data acquisition and data reduction for gel permeation chromatography, and (iii) identification software for the flow behavior of viscous material in tubular reactor systems and broadening correction for GPC. |
