Popis: | Recently a method has been proposed to characterize the selectivity of ion-selective electrodes (ISE). It has been claimed that this ‘matched potential’ method is more generally applicable for ISEs than any other method. The present work shows that for small signal changes this claim is justified. Moreover it is proved that the method's validity is not limited to ISEs but extends to virtually any other type of sensor. |
