Popis: 1. A polypeptide of regular structure, containing the sequence -glycine-hydroxyproline- hydroxyproline-, and having a sedimentation constant equal to 7, was synthesized employing the pentachlorophenyl esters. 2. Both the x-ray structure data and the IR-spectroscopy data unequivocally indicate the existence of a structure of the collagen type in the polypeptide.
