Routing Protocol for Ensuring Quality of Services for Real-Time traffic

Popis: This paper, introduces QoS aware-AODV routing protocol for routing packets in MANET which is different from the existing. In the original protocol the issues like the route path stability, the factor of bandwidth size was not addressed. But the main advantage of this protocol is that it discovers highly stable route path from peer to peer nodes. The proposed protocol addresses the changes that are made in ‘hello’ packet and ‘RREQ’ packet. Here we have considered initiating time of the packet when transaction starts, also route stability factor and bandwidth inclusion, which are mainly the concern of QoS metrics. The source sends the Route REQ message with required bandwidth to the neighbor and gets route reply from destination. To measure the qos metrics of the proposed routing protocol NS3 tool has been used for investigating the performance.
