Popis: | In this paper, we present different configurations of antenna networks for Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX) communication system. This phase consists in networking the elementary radiating elements in a particular geometric arrangement to guarantee the requirements imposed in terms of gain, maximum size and radiation patterns using the simulator CST MWs. The objective here is to choose the total number of elements and the spacing between them in order to reach the desired gain levels. The maximum gain is obtained when the distance between the sources is between 0.5 λ and 0.9 λ (λ corresponds to the wavelength which is determined from the central operating frequency). If the sources are too close to each other, a coupling phenomenon reduces the value of the gain. When they are too far apart, secondary lobes of radiation appear and also reduce the gain. The distance between the elements will be fixed according to the constraints of gain and the size imposed by the specifications. |
