Popis:	The treatment of polifractured patients is challenging for the orthopaedic surgeon. The evolution of concepts and technologies has led to new horizons in this field in the last decades. In this paper the authors discuss the future direction of trauma surgery in different fields and the technologies that could help the surgeon, improve results and minimize complications in politraumatic patients.
