Popis: Recognized for some years as an invaluable tool in industrial and geophysical applications, acoustical holography is proving to be a viable modality in medical diagnostic procedures. The system clearly delineates portions of the body never observed before through any means, as well as visualization of radiation sensitive areas without risk of harmful effects. Present applications include soft tissue ortho pedics, reconstructive survery of extremities, fetal respiration and heart action studies, trauma including hematoma observation, and general body organ position and behavior. Acoustical holography has a goal the visualization of child anatomy without radiation effects.
