Popis: | Proteolytic activity of 8 strains of micromycetes (belonging to different ecological and trophic groups: phyto-, nemato-, myco-, and entomopathogens as well as human pathogens) toward the hemostatic system proteins has been assayed by using the chromogenic peptide substrates. The investigated micromycetes are shown to secrete proteases with a broad substrate specificity. However, there are producers among them exhibiting a pronounced plasmin-like and urokinase activity (Arthrobotrys longa 1, Sarocladium strictum 203) as well as a tPA (tissue plasminogen activator)-like activity (Purpureocillium lilacinum k1). It is found that the most active producer of proteases with fibrinolytic and plasminogen activator activity is S. strictum 203. Plasminogen activator activity of proteinases produced by S. strictum 203 is approximately 50% of the fibrinolytic one, which makes this strain a promising producer of fibrinolytic enzymes. |
