Popis:	A flotation technology was developed for obtaining baddeleyite-forsterite concentrate from the dump, gravitation tailings (ABOF) from the Kovdorov Mining Combine, which reduces the loss of expensive and scarce baddeleyite, and increases the utilization range of the mineral raw material from the Kovdor Region. We studied the possibility of obtaining refractories of forsterite-chromite composition from the baddeleyite-forsterite product. The optimum composition and firing temperature were determined. The chemical and phase compositions and the main physical properties of these refractory specimens correspond to those of standard forsterite-chromite refractories.
