In this article modern digital signal processing (DSP) distance courses was discussed based on comparative analysis. As the result of analysis it is became possible to determine the general specificity of distance courses and main advantages and disadvantages that affect significant reduction of audience of courses. All distance learning courses have limited access to their content; when studying the material, they use licensed software to solve practical problems, including final tests. Project of our own distance course will be based on the requirements which was defined based on the main moments in considered courses structures and contents. The results obtained during the study allow us to define two main language for DSP in education distance courses namely Python and MATLAB. Comparison of these language in practice lead us to conclusion that Python can be used instead of MATLAB without loosing effectiveness, quality and basic meaning of DSP tasks. Thus in designing of our own distance DSP course will be used Python language. |
