Popis: The current security threat that a chip manufacturing company faces is the tampering of the circuit design by inserting a hardware Trojan (HT). These HTs can be either sequential or combinational based on the type of Trojan inserted. Compressive Sensing (CS) being one of the most effective and efficient techniques utilized for Trojan Detection, we utilize one such CS algorithm for our proposed work. This paper is presented based on the fact that the inserted HT will alter one of the major attributes of the design such as power or delay, etc. The paper describes an algorithm in sensing the delay observed from primary inputs to primary outputs and utilize the CS process for encoding and decoding the difference matrix. Though the coefficient correlation technique, we show that the HT can be detected and its impact on the design can be studied by analyzing the net delay between the inputs and the outputs without applying any input vectors.
