Popis: | The effect of low-intensity He–Ne laser light (λ = 632.8 nm) on the rheological properties of whole human blood was studied using light-scattering techniques. Changes were detected in the average size of erythrocyte aggregates in blood following exposure to low intensity laser light under both in vitro and in vivo conditions. A theoretical model based on heat transfer theory qualitatively describes the experimental results. |
