Popis: Urinary stone formation, including nucleation, growth and agglomeration of crystals, occurs in a fixed, gel-like state from a flow of supersaturated urine. In general, these facts have not been taken into account in conventional models of crystallization applied in urolithiasis research. Therefore, we developed a new flow model of crystallization in gels (FCMG), which is briefly described in this paper. The model represents a dynamic constant composition method which is aimed at simulating physiological conditions of urinary stone formation as far as possible.
