Popis: Women spend approximately 30% to 40% of their lives in menopause, a state defined by the cessation of estrogen production by the ovaries. Menopausal symptoms are experienced by more than 50% of menopausal women, which can be relieved through supports and menopausal hormone therapy (MHT). However, due to the lack of menopause health management knowledge, women in remote and poverty-stricken areas have to bear the physical and psychological discomfort and social tensions caused by menopause. Therefore, menopausal health education is particularly important for women. However, the current situation is that women can’t effectively acquire menopause-related knowledge to improve their understandings of menopause or relieve menopausal symptoms. In addition, there are different organized settings of health education, including government agencies, communities or some health care groups, the effect of which is also not the same. Therefore, we conducted a scoping review on health education intervention in premenopausal/perimenopausal/postmenopausal women, aiming to map the range and characteristics of related evidence over the past decades, and to identify health education program features that resulted in successful outcomes including reduced symptoms and improved long-term wellness.
