| Popis: | The 60 amino acid peptide pS2 has been synthesized and oxidised . It shows a disulphide bridging arrangment that is not consistent with the trefoil structure previously suggested from its homology with porcine spasmolytic polypeptide. Analysis of fragments from proteolytic digests suggests two possible disulphide bridging configurations, either between cystine residues Cys7-32, Cys17-27, and Cys33-44, or Cys7-33, Cys17- 27 and Cys32-44. |
