Popis: The transport of Ni2+ through an AOT-stabilised microemulsion-based organo-gel (MBG), located in between two aqueous regions A and B, has been studied. Using a mathematical model, the effective diffusion coefficient, D eff, of Ni2+ ion was estimated to be in the range 5–7×10−7 cm2 s−1.
