Popis: | Some parasitoses are AIDS-defining illnesses. Toxoplasmosis encephalopathy is a common opportunistic infection in HIV/AIDS patients. Clinical manifestations of scabies in HIV/AIDS patients can be atypical, and crusted scabies is common. In this chapter, the authors present cases of AIDS with crusted scabies, HIV infection with pubic lice, and also introduce other parasitic infections such as toxoplasmosis, amebiasis cutis, cutaneous leishmaniasis, and cutaneous strongyloidiasis. |
