Popis: | We present the measurements made on spatial variation of acoustic emissions along the length of an air plasma filament generated by an intense femtosecond laser pulse. The effect of focal geometry on the acoustic emission profile of a filament is also studied. Arrival times and peak pressures generated by the air plasma filament is measured and precise spatial extent of the filament is determined. |
