Popis: | A new method is suggested for the determination of the quantum yield of atomic fluorine formed as a result of photolysis of molecules. The method is based on the measurement of the delay of stimulated emission from a chemical laser utilizing a mixture of the investigated fluoride molecules with hydrogen or methane. A report is given of an experimental determination of the quantum yields of F atoms obtained as a result of photodissociation of some fluorides. |
