In the current pandemic situation distance learning has become the most important for learning and knowledge was the only possible way of education during the quarantine. The issue of distance learning implementing for the engineering specialties students which during their training, must acquire applied (professional, special) competencies, be able to perform the relevant types of professional activity is particularly important for now. These students mainly acquire competencies aimed at solving subject-mental and symbolic-practical problems. To develop an effective online course (OC), the research results presented in the article obtained on the basis of the use of such general scientific tools as a hypothetical-deductive method and bases of the activity-based approach in the understanding of competencies and the learning process. The article considers developing an online course in a fundamental professional academic course based on a competency-based approach. In order to test the concept (hypotheses) provisions the online course on fundamental professional academic course (FPAC) was developed. |
