Research on Regenerative Braking Torque Ripple Suppression of Brushless DC Motor

Popis: In order to suppress the regenerative braking torque ripple of Brushless DC Motor (BLDCM), two aspects considered. On the one hand, during the non-commutation of regenerative braking, puts forward a new modulation strategy PWM-OFF-PWM to avoid the non-conducting freewheeling, thus suppressing the non-commutation torque ripple caused by the non-conducting freewheeling. On the other hand, during the commutation of regenerative braking, an overlap commutation control strategy with dynamically adjustable commutation time is proposed. The non-commutation current during the regenerative braking commutation can be kept constant, thereby suppressing the commutation torque ripple caused by the non-commutation current fluctuation. The effectiveness of the proposed new strategies to suppress the regenerative braking torque ripple of BLDCM is verified by simulation and experiment.
