The biofertilizer can mitigate the effect of severe evaporation water loss, frequent in the in the semiarid region. Considering this, the present study evaluated the sesame crop yield under different irrigation levels in the presence and absence of biofertilizer. The study was conducted at the Universidade Federal do Ceara, Fortaleza-CE. The experimental design was that of randomized blocks, in a 5 x 2 factorial arrangement, with five replications. The treatments consisted of five irrigation levels based on the Penman-Monteith evapotranspiration (ETo, mm day-1).
