Popis: | Aspects of an alternative method for coronary artery imaging using an interleaved multiple slice image acquisition technique will be discussed and results will be presented in this chapter. The method bases on magnetic resonance (MR) data acquisition over an approximately 10-minute period using a dedicated breathing pattern. The entire cardiac cycle is used for data acquisition. We will give a short and noncomplete survey of varying MR data acquisition techniques for coronary artery magnetic resonance angiography (MRA) based on how the approaches deal with breathing motion. The proposed multiple slice technique is then explained in detail, together with two display techniques for the resulting data sets. The proposed technique will be compared with other approaches described in this book. A series of images and results will also be presented, together with a complete list of imaging parameters of the described acquisition method. |
