Popis:	In the article, the authors present an analysis of published data on international scientific community thought about the issue of care for acute stroke and the need for stroke centers, suggest an approximate description of stroke centers that are recommended for introduction in Kyiv and Ukraine. Description consists of the general provisions, the main tasks of the center, functions, center management, recommendations for specialized centers for the treatment of stroke (emergency diagnostics, general examination and treatment of complications of a stroke).
