Popis: | There is poor correlation between daytime complaints of patients with sleep-disordered breathing (SDB) and visual scoring of sleep disruption. However, the cyclic alternating pattern (CAP) brings forth new information on non–rapid eye movement sleep disturbances. CAP is an important adjunct in the investigation of sleep disturbance in SDB patients. The CAP automatic scoring system tested is sufficiently accurate to aid in CAP scoring. Current respiratory scoring criteria to evaluate the severity of SDB in premenopausal womenmay be inadequate. |
