Popis:	The systolic and, in particular, the diastolic resistances of types of artificial heart (AH) tested are similar. They are little affected by differences in the shape and size of the AH, types of valve, or mechanical properties of the membrane material. The values of the resistances are evidently determined mainly by the parameters of the pneumatic drive used.
