Popis: | A novel crosslinked polymeric 2,5-di-t-butyl-1,4-dialkoxybenzene derivative bearing dialkoxyaryl redox centers has been prepared and evaluated as a cathode material in a Li-ion battery. The polymer is a macromolecular analogue of the well known redox shuttle 2,5-di-t-butyl-1,4-dimethoxybenzene. The high cell voltage of 4 V and stable cycling behavior make the novel polymer a promising prototype of a new class of cathode materials. |
