| Popis: | Aeroengine noise reduction activity of the recent past has covered the whole system of existing and feasible patterns of operation from short take off concepts through to supersonic transport. In the UK engine industry, however, the emphasis has been on solving three outstanding problems: quietening the noisier of the existing aircraft, the Concorde problem, and designing even quieter engines for future subsonic operation. |
