This paper analyzes Total Quality Management (TQM) application in services industries in Vietnam. TQM is measured by seven factors such as: context of the organization, leadership, planning, support, operation, performance evaluation, and improvement. The regression model was used with data collected from 1525 enterprises in nine services sectors. The descriptive statistics shows that the lowest rate of TQM application is 4.29% of the Education and Training sector, while the highest proportion is for the health sector (32.61%). The regression results illustrate that TQM has a positive effect on firm performance (revenue and profit). From the results, some solutions are proposed to enhance the performance of service enterprises in Vietnam through TQM factor improvements. |
