Cerci ochraceous. Remarks. Anacroneuria froehlichi was collected in the streams of Chapada dos Veadeiros, northern Goiás state. This species has a color pattern common to several species of the genus. A. froehlichi has penial armature (in dorsal view) with an abruptly narrowed apex, forming a slender process. This penial armature shape of A. froehlichi is unique, easily distinguishing it from other species of the genus. Etymology. The name honors Claudio Gilberto Froehlich, a pioneer in Plecoptera research in South America.
