Popis: | The early stages of the decomposition reaction in Cu-0.9 at % Ti at 350°C have been investigated by means of small- and wide-angle neutron scattering (SWANS). This technique is distinguished by an extremely high resolution superior even to that of high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) and field ion microscopy (FIM). The experimental results indicate a coarsening reaction of a considerably reduced rate to take place from the very beginning of the decomposition reaction. |
