In this study designed antenna transmitter (Tx) and receiver (Rx) antenna for GPR application (Ground Penetrating Radar FMCW signal-based). The working frequency of the antenna is at a frequency of 2.4 GHz radio frequency follow UHF and microwave frequency S Band. This type of antenna is an antenna with the type mikrostrip bowtie and circular planar array. Antenna design and implementation process begins by designing and simulation on software CST and HFSS. After the results of the simulation in accordance with specification, antenna fabricated with FR-4 substrate (lossy) Epoxy with the value of the relative permittivity 4.6 and 1.6 mm thick. measured Process antenna RF cable is done with a connector SMA (with impedance 50 $\Omega$) to obtain parameter values that correspond to the specifications in which the value of the return loss-10 dB pad and VSWR $(\lt) \leq$ 2. |
