Popis: An anodic slime obtained from a local copper refinery was treated with 10 % H 2 SO 4 in order to recover the copper present in the slime. The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of various parameters such as leaching temperature, leaching time, type of oxidizing atmosphere and the use of an additive on the degree of copper recovery from the slime. The optimum leaching conditions for the highest copper recovery were determined as follows: leaching solution 10 % H 2 SO 4 , leaching temperature 80 °C, oxidizing gas O 2 at a flow rate of 2.0 l/min, additive Fe 2 (SO 4 ) 3 , leaching time 4 hours.
