Popis: | The fundamental equation of TVFM shows that the quantity of absorbed sorbate is defined mainly by structural and energy parameters. The main purpose of the present work is a theoretical study in the area of establishing a link between the structural and energy parameters of a sorbent. It is shown that the character of this link is defined by the degree of sorbent filling by a sorbate and by the structural changes which the sorbent undergoes in the process of its saturation under equilibrium conditions, where both the former and the latter are defined in the final analysis by the equilibrium pressure of the sorbate during sorbent saturation. Theoretical analysis of the fundamental TVFM equation shows that for practically all degrees of sorbent filling by a sorbate, the process of equilibrium sorption in a microporous sorbent can be described by the Freundlich equation with variable constants entering into the equation, which means it bears an adsorption character. |
