Popis:	The conformation of dibenzo[d,f][1,3,2]dioxagermepin 5 was investigated by VT 1NMR spectroscopy, utilizing a diastereotopic proton probe. The free energy of activation for ring inversion (atropisomerism about the sp2−sp2 C−C single bond connecting the two aryl rings) is 13.8 kcal mol-1.
