Popis:	Both morphological redescription and DNA barcoding of Triozocera pugiopennis Chaudhuri and Das Gupta (Corioxenidae: Triozocerinae) are done. This is the first ever study of DNA barcode sequences of any twisted winged parasitoid from India. The molecular barcoding infers that species have a wide distribution including India and Pakistan. Malayaxenos capillipenis Mitra and Mazumdar is proposed here to synonymise with Triozocera pugiopennis.
