Popis: The Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ)’s Personnel Pro-Rectorate (PR-4) – through the data survey regarding the University’s staff education/qualification, which has approximately 9,401 administrative education technicians (AETs), half of them having graduated, 975 with a Master’s degree and 302 with a PhD degree. Considering the success of events aiming the knowledge sharing by employees from all levels and classes, the Integration Seminar of Administrative Education Technicians (SINTAE UFRJ) – understands that the AETs’ experience promotion and production deserve and lack a greater space for flowing in a comprehensive, continuous and national way, therefore, proposing the creation of a technical and scientific journal. That’s how the Praticas em Gestao Publica Universitaria (PGPU) [University Public Management Practices] was created, a bi-annual electronic magazine, with free and unrestricted access, aiming to publish analyses, reflections and/or results from works by AETs (active and retired ones), managers, researchers, professors and students from IFEs throughout the country, prioritizing works by AETs or containing technicians among its co-authors, in addition to reviews, interviews and experiences from employees in the university public management field, divided in 19 sub-fields. Thus, the PGPU magazine, that in June 2016 makes its first national call for work submission, aims to contribute in the knowledge organization and systemization within and outside UFRJ, when analyzing the university as a whole and in the decision-making by the managing authorities, based on quality information.
