Popis: Living lab, where various stakeholders such as local residents, local governments and companies collaborate (cf. (European Networks of Living Labs. https://www.openlivinglabs.eu)), has been attracting attention as a design method for local community services. Running a living lab, however, requires the lab staff to have highly specialized skills, and ideation facilitation is one of the important skills required for successful Living Lab management. Supporting novice staff with information technologies is expected to contribute to the further spread and implementation of living labs. In this study, we conducted a preliminary study of interaction state estimation based on nonverbal and speech-event cues to support novice facilitators. The proposed method can serve as a basis for designing a supporting system for novice facilitators by detecting important interaction events.
