Analysis of DNBR TRIGA 2000 calculation results using STAT and COOLOD-N2

Popis: The DNBR calculation for the TRIGA 2000 reactor has been carried out using STAT and COOLOD-N2 software. The power distribution calculation on the core with a configuration of 105 fuel elements was carried out using the MCNP software. DNBR calculations are performed at a power of 1000 kW, 900 kW, 800 kW, 700 kW, 600 kW, 500 kW with a radial power peaking factor of 1.67 and axial power peaking factor of 1.27. The result of DNBR calculation using STAT is slightly higher than using COOLOD-N2. At a power of 500 kW, the DNBR calculation result using STAT is 3.48 while the DNBR calculation result using COOLOD-N2 is 3,36, gradually to 1000 kW power, DNBR calculation result using STAT is 1.24 and DNBR calculation result using COOLOD-N2 is 1.18. From these results it can be concluded that the calculation using COOLOD-N2 gives more conservative results than calculations using STAT.
