Popis: | In this paper, we are concerned with eddy-current analysis based on fast boundary element methods (BEM). A novel compression and preconditioning technique, adaptive cross approximation, is used to benefit from several advantages when computing problems with highly permeable materials. Several numerical experiments have been performed with the aim to investigate the performance compared to finite element solvers. The results are validated on the TEAM benchmark problem P21. |
