Popis:	An experiment in which methods of the spectroscopy of light-scattering media were used to determine the optical constants of plant leaves is described. The true absorption spectrum of the pigment mixture in the living leaf ofMorus nigra was obtained. The effect of boundaries was corrected for by means of the Ryde-Cooper formulas.
